As a part of the Goldsmiths Pataphysical studio in winter 2019, I was able to design and send work to be a part of the Gwangju Design Biennale 2019 in South Korea. My work was displayed for over 200,000 exhibit visitors among designers from 47 different countries. Working on this project brief was done with the public facing outcome in mind, but researched as a personal project for an MA term project. The two often conflicting natures of this brief resulted in some standout work in my portfolio.

Pataphysics is a Real Word
Pataphysics is a branch of philosophy often used in design, it is the examination of the imaginary beyond metaphysics. This examination gives way to ideas that cannot quite exist, to solve very real problems or raise important controversial questions. The Pataphysical Slide Rule is a set of tools meant to help identify the ideal dietary items for the ideal self. When used daily, this tool will solve body image issues, health concerns, and mental wellness.
